Establish New Service

Existing Home or Business Service

If your home has an existing water meter, a service transfer fee and security deposit are required. The security deposit will be refunded after one year if there are no delinquent payments in that year. To establish a standard 5/8 inch meter service in your name, the District will require the following: (Larger meters will have increased fees. Consult the rate schedule for complete information.)

  • a signed service contract
  • a refundable meter deposit
  • a non refundable administrative fee of $35.00

New Home or Business

If you are building a new home or business in the District, a refundable meter deposit is required. Please allow 3-4 weeks for tap to be made and meter to be set. The following fees may apply to new construction depending on the location of the property.

  • Administrative Fee
  • Impact Fee – A capital recovery fee to pay for the cost of treatment and distribution facilities. This type of fee applies to both water and wastewater.
  • Inspection Fees
  • Meter Deposit
  • New Service Fee
  • Plan Review Fee
  • Plumbing Permit Fee
  • Tap Fee – To pay the cost of tapping into the main and repaving the street if necessary.
