Establish New Service

For Existing Home or Business Service

If your home has an existing water meter, a service transfer fee and security deposit are required. The security deposit will be refunded after one year if there are no delinquent payments in that year. To establish service in your name, the District will require the following:

  • a signed Service Agreement
  • a refundable meter deposit
  • a non-refundable administrative fee 


Please download and fill out a Service Agreement to begin the process.  The completed and signed Service Agreement is acceptable by fax:  512-266-2790; emailed to customerservice@wcid17.org; mail or delivery in-person to 3812 Eck Lane, Austin, TX  78734.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

New Home or Business

If you are building a new home or business in the District, a refundable meter deposit is required.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for the water tap to be installed and the meter to be set.
