We have been contacted by several people who have been sent a fraudulent check with the WCID No. 17 name and logo along with a letter that asks the recipient to place a logo on their vehicle in exchange for the money. Please know this is a scam. WCID No. 17 does not send checks to residents asking for something in return. We are passing this information on to the authorities for action but wanted to ensure our customers were aware of the situation.
