Schedule
• Recycling is collected on the same day as your trash. Place your
recycling cart at the curb by 7:00 a.m. A separate truck from the
trash truck collects recycling.
• Curbside recycling collection once a week.
• One (1) 65-gallon recycling cart provided by the service vendor.
• Rinse food waste from all recyclables.
• Place all recyclables in the same cart. No sorting is needed, but
keep newspapers dry.
• Place your recycling cart three (3) feet away from your trash cart so
the automated arm can pick it up.
• Additional carts are available for an additional charge.
What Can Be Recycled
Paper: Magazines, junk mail, box board, holiday and greeting cards,
phone books, home office paper, paper bags, catalogs, and newspapers.
You don’t need to remove inserts.
Corrugated cardboard: Flatten or cut cardboard down to 2 feet by 2
feet. Place it in your recycling cart, or set it next to the recycling cart if it
doesn’t fit. Corrugated cardboard is thick and has a wavy middle layer.
Moving and shipping boxes are usually made of it.
What Cannot Be Recycled
• Pizza boxes or any paper or cardboard with food residue.
• Disposable paper plates and cups.
• Paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper.
• Wrapping paper and gift bags.
• Milk and juice cartons.
Please note: Cardboard left next to the trash cart, or cardboard that isn’t
flattened or cut down, will be collected as trash.
