Acceptable Items for Collection
Garbage – Refuse or vegetable matter, cans, bottles, sacks, clothes, and any other household waste.
Brush – All brush bundled not to exceed (5) feet length, (4) inch diameter or weight more than 40 pounds.
Bulk Waste – Refrigerators and Freezers with a certification report that CFCs have been removed. Washing machines, hot water heaters, dish washers, stoves and other household appliances.
There is a maximum of only three (3) Bulk Items and/or Bundles once per week as part of the regular collection service; provided, that the Bulk Items or Bundles (i) are placed at curbside or right of way adjacent to the Residential Unit Customer no later than 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection day, (ii) are reasonably contained, and (iii) do not exceed two (2) cubic yards in total volume, five (5) feet in length, four (4) inches in diameter for Bundles, or have any individual item exceeding forty (40) pounds in weight.
Excluded Items
Services WILL NOT cover collection, hauling or disposal of any Hazardous Waste, animal or human, dead animals, auto parts, used tires, concrete, dirt, gravel, rock or sand from any container provided by the Service Provider at curbside; provided however, that the Customer may negotiate a separate agreement with the Service Provider on an individual basis regarding the collection, hauling or disposal of auto parts, used tires, concrete, dirt, gravel, rock or sand and make payment arrangements direct with Service Provider.
