WCID No. 17 is co-hosting the bi-annual Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event Wednesday October 14. These events give residents a safe, free way to drop off hazardous chemicals so they stay out of our landfills, drains, and water sources.
Appointments are required so be sure to register in advance and bring proof of residence (driver’s license or utility bill).
Original containers only: Items must remain in their original labeled containers for safe handling. There is a 30-gallon limit per customer.
We accept: Paints, thinners, pool chemicals, yard pesticides, motor oil, and household cleaners.
