On September 21, 2023, Travis County Water Control and Improvement District No. 17 approved its Fiscal Year 2024 Operating Budget. Following the published Tax Rate hearing, taxes were set for the District as well as its Defined Areas for the Tax Year 2023. The District is proud to announce that all five tax rates are lower for Tax Year 2023.

The 2024 Operating Budget includes rate increases to certain wastewater system rates as recommended by the current rate study due to significant capital projects that require funding to be completed within the District’s operational timeline. For the sixth year in a row, no changes were made to any of the District’s water rates.

The Apache Shores and River Ridge service areas have had their Debt Service and Capacity Buy-In fees slightly lowered to reflect their current debt and infrastructure conditions. Their Out of District fee remains unchanged. For more information, please click here.
