Public Safety Day has been Postponed

Posted by on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 in Hot Topics, News

Dear Public Safety Day Participants:

During this historic unprecedented flooding event, we know that all first responders are being called to their duties to protect their citizens along with their citizens’ families, pets and properties during this colossal act of Mother Nature. Due to this looming weather event, we have decided to postpone Public Safety Day which was scheduled for this Saturday.

Lakeway Police Chief Todd Radford, Bee Cave Police Chief Gary Miller and Lake Travis Fire Rescue Chief Robert Abbott, along with the Lakeway Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, LTFR Lt. Adam Griggs and myself, express our collective appreciation for your commitment to participate in this event and we will reach out to you when the event is rescheduled.

Please be safe out there! We appreciate all you do for your communities and this great state!

Best Regards,

Cindy V. Taylor
Executive Assistant to the Fire Chief
Annual Public Safety Day Event Coordinator
Lake Travis Fire Rescue
