Irrigation
Effective July 1, 2009, WCID17 will require irrigators in the District to follow the Landscape Irrigation Policy that was adopted by the Board of Directors to promote water conservation and insure proper design and installation of irrigation systems. This policy is in compliance with the Texas Legislature House Bill 1656 adding Section 49.238 of the Texas Water Code establishing and enforcing efficient use of water in irrigation.
