Fire Hydrant Meters
Fire hydrant meters may be set up for temporary construction water. Apply for a construction
meter at the District office at 3812 Eck Lane.
A 5/8-inch construction meter requires a $75.00 deposit which is refundable on the final bill.
A 2-inch construction meter requires a $600.00 deposit which is refundable on the final bill.
There is also a $100.00 meter set fee. District staff will set the meter. However,
the contractor is expected to provide a properly operating backflow prevention device.
There will be a $50.00 charge each time the meter location is moved during the
construction process.
